We're Stewards, Not Owners

We’re getting to the root of things. Examining our intentions, our heart, our motives. Our prayer is that we would have a pure perspective on what God has entrusted to us. It’s all His — we’re stewards, not owners. When we recognize it’s His, it makes us yearn for His mind, His sight, His perspective on our finances.

SERMON: Theology of money

Why I Give

God doesn’t want something from you, but for you.

God has given us, as believers, the privilege to give of our lives and money. When we give, God gives us opportunities to operate in generosity. Our obedience through giving, promotes growth in both our spiritual and physical lives. God’s generosity is unmatched. Not only did he give us His Son, but He gave us life— and life more abundantly. Our response to His generosity should be generosity in return.

From Fixation to Fury

What are you fixated on? What captures your attention? Where your focus goes your life will follow. Are you focused on the spirit or the flesh? Being spirit-led leads to the fruit of the spirit. However, when your flesh controls you, it leads to the fruit of the flesh.

When Winning Leaves You Empty

Have you ever really wanted something, finally got it, and then realized it didn’t make you feel as good as you thought it would? You’re winning on the outside, but feel empty on the inside. Like Samson, we must recognize that our deepest needs can’t be met by success alone. Only God can fill that hollow place.

When Deliverance Isn't Enough

We don’t have a deliverance problem; we have a healing problem. In order to heal and break the chains of shame, guilt, anger, addiction, and more, we must first reveal the unaddressed pain. Not only must we reveal the things weighing us down, but we must also remove all the things that cause our chains.

Breaking Up With Delilah

Daily our mind and thoughts are given an invitation to engage in such things like, lust, envy, greed, pride and so much more. But we have been given free will to decide whether to take on this invitation or not. Through God’s power we are able to resist the devil and he will flee from us.

Potential Suicide

You might be down, but you're not out. God’s grace says you fell down, but you can get back up! If you’re feeling down, lean on the pillars of grace and truth.

We must choose to kill our flesh man so that Christ can resurrect in our life. Samson died once, but real men and women of Jesus die daily!
