Practical leadership handles for you and your teams.
As leaders, we all struggle with the concept of quitting. You’d be lying if you said it never crossed your mind. It’d be easier. There’d be less pressure. I wouldn’t feel overwhelmed. The stress would disappear. While quitting often feels like the “easy way out”, what I’ve discovered on the path of leadership is this: if you stay planted long enough you’ll see a harvest. It may not always look how you pictured it, or be in the timing you expected, but you will always have the resources you need to remain.
Fight Fatigue
Leaders quit when they’re tired.
1. Fill Up Your Cup
What you’re filled up by is what you’ll overflow with.
2. Be Intentional
Plan your rest like you plan your work.
3. Remember to H.A.L.T
Are you Hungry? Angry? Lonely? Tired?
