I want you to picture a pink elephant wearing a tutu drinking tea. Seems pretty crazy huh? How about a field of flowers with baby blue skies and the warm sun on your skin? Think about how wonderful the flowers smell and the sound of birds chirping in the distance. What about driving down the coastline in your luxury convertible? Do you feel the wind in your hair and the roar of the engine? It's easy to imagine ideas in your mind when prompted. You too have the power to tell your mind what to visualize. We have this amazing God-given tool called imagination which God used to create us and gifted us with the ability to co-create his kingdom. Now the question is, does your vision for yourself align with God's vision? God's vision for us becomes clearer the more time we spend in his word. Our faith and hope in God is strengthened when we don't see all the steps ahead of us but we follow God's path obediently.

Crazy Faith is not where you start; it is where you find yourself after you’re diligent and dedicated to exercising baby faith.

1. Imagination is the Engine of Faith

There are many things that kill our inclination to imagine. If we are not careful we can allow our intellect to hinder our imagination by not believing in the supernatural. We can allow ignorance to hinder our imagination by not having God's Word in our hearts. Or we can allow others' influence to doubt our faith-filled imagination. Our adulting and environment can silence our imagination. The key to the kingdom is to become more kiddy, not immature, but kid-like.

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see

Hebrews 11:1

2. Imagination is Purified in Intercession

Prayer connects us to our Creator. Whenever it comes to our imagination we should submit to God our thoughts and desires. By doing so God is able to purify our thoughts and intentions, directing our path. God doesn’t want you to just imagine, He wants you to imagine with Him. What He’s planned for you which is greater than anything you could wish or envision for yourself.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Proverbs 3:5

God created us in His image. He envisioned us before He ever created us. He has also given us the gift of creativity. He wants to use our imaginations to unlock the vision He has for each of us. But our desires  must be bathed in intercession and prayer. Your imagination is your spiritual womb. What are you birthing? Sin begins in the mind therefore unanointed inspiration can destroy you. This is the reason we are to practice the daily disciplines of praying and reading the Word of God. God will give you a heart for His will. God wants to ignite your dreams to line up with His will. He is a God of miracles and wonders. Spend time with Him so He can unlock your anointed imagination and show you what He has in store for you.
